EVA-FIORE KOVACOVSKY – “Signs”
Eva was born in Switzerland on a small farm. Her parents said that she always communed with nature and she agrees to that. Her work at first would take landscape photos. Now, she gets leaves and twigs and creates abstract photos with these said items. She’ll carve into leaves and create symbols and will add a completely different hue/saturation look to the leaf giving it an entirely different look.
DANIEL W. COBURN: Suspension
Coburn lives and works in Lawrence, Kansas. His main theme in most of his photos is what he calls “flaws of the American dream”. All of his photos give a vintage, grunge look to them. Basically the way he edits is like an Instagram filter, except they’re good. His work is seen just about everywhere in America. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Kansas. I like his photos because I’ve always have been fond of this style of photography.
Barbara Ciurej: Daguerrotype
Barbara is well known for her photos that she makes, literally. She gets old envelopes and stuff and will turn that into a canvas for a photo. Giving it more texture and realism.
